About the position

Under direct supervision, the Business Solutions Document Support Clerical I is responsible for inputting a high volume of data efficiently to manage large amounts of information that is often sensitive or confidential. This role contributes to an organization independently to help support its goals and mission. The Business Solutions Document Support Clerical I focuses on specific tasks or facets of the company as assigned by their direct leader. The Business Solutions Document Support Clerical I is responsible for completing tactile tasks and completing assigned work duties that help drive the success of the organization. The Business Solutions Document Support Clerical I will have the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with internal and external contacts, meet deadlines, organization and time management, and the ability to maintain autonomy while working on projects and duties.

Responsibilities

  • Input high volume of data efficiently to manage sensitive or confidential information.
  • Handle large volumes of mail and cash to be scanned, balanced, and deposited.
  • File, manage, and shred items in accordance with company document retention policy.
  • Perform moderately complex data entry duties and apply basic accounting principles.
  • Balance the cash report to be turned into accounting daily.
  • Maintain the Rescan Workbasket and a 90-day rotation of scanned information in the file room.
  • Work and maintain spreadsheets as needed.
  • Process new group member applications, cancellations, and basic changes to memberships.
  • Process member payments and review non-processable applications.
  • Scan, index, and file sensitive and confidential information.
  • Retrieve information from Site Admin and manage incoming/outgoing calls and emails.
  • Open and route mail to the proper destination for processing.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • High school degree equivalent; Some college preferred.
  • 0-1+ years prior experience working in customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and provide a detail-oriented, analytical approach to daily duties.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
  • Positive professional attitude with the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach with a passion for service and ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to change.
