About the position

The Business Solutions Engineer will be responsible for analyzation and problem solving. They will lend a lot of time to cross-department collaboration. Other job functions for this position includes: Communicate & Advise: Be able to articulate and apply in a very credible and professional way, the company's technology and product portfolio to our customers business and technical users and demonstrate how it could deliver significant value to their organization. Analyze & Develop: Analyze customer requirements, by identifying and highlighting pain points, and determine a best fit solution from the company product portfolio, during the discovery phase. Accountable for ensuring that all proposed solutions are fit for purpose, are right for the customer, that the company can deliver them to the right quality, to time and to budget and that they deliver the agreed benefits for both the customer and our business. Help up-skill and develop the sales team to enable them to articulate and apply in a very credible and professional way, the company's technology and product portfolio to our customers business and technical users to allow them to sell our solutions more confidently and independently and identify other potential opportunities. Work closely with technical and executive teams on solutions to include business case analysis for solutions. Grow & Cultivate: Use their excellent product, business, technical and relationship skills and knowledge to establish themselves as a trusted technical advisor to our priority customers to help drive further opportunity generation in order to maximize value to the client and the company. Shape the company's technology roadmap by using their experience working directly with our customers to help identify new capabilities that would increase our competitive advantage in he managed services environment. Train sales team as well as other departments to align teams on our product offerings. Solutions & Maintenance: Design solution outline documentation to include network diagrams, based on agreed client requirements, and assist with presenting these to the client within sales order phase. Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery. Help maintain the company demonstration environments to ensure the latest products are available for demonstration to clients. Invest in personal development to maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all current and upcoming products and releases. Understand how these products fit within the company portfolio and their relevance to clients' current and future business needs to enhance the company value proposition. Also ensure that these emerging products can be sold and deployed with confidence. Keep up to date on technology trends in our customer verticals, paying particular attention to those that fit within the company's sales strategy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or four years of work experience in a related field.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • General knowledge of the telecom market.
  • Eligibility to qualify for TS Level Security Clearance.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Visio).
  • General knowledge of Networking, VoIP and Wireless Technologies.
  • Ability to travel for more than 1 week per trip, up to 6 times a year.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm CST time zone hours.
  • Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance.
