About the position

The Business & Commerce Specialised Enforcement Ops (B-SEO) Specialist role within the Global Response Operations organization at Meta focuses on managing and resolving sensitive escalations related to Meta's policies. This position involves proactive investigation of complex issues, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the development of scalable solutions to mitigate risks and improve processes. The specialist will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Meta's policies while effectively communicating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate and process reported escalations across the Meta product suite.
  • Respond to sensitive global partner inquiries, including reports of alleged legal rights infringement.
  • Proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and drive complex escalations to resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the escalation process.
  • Cooperate with diverse groups to coordinate work and develop long-lasting relationships.
  • Interpret and enforce Meta's policies using sound judgment and specific knowledge.
  • Gather, analyze, and utilize relevant data to develop improvements to the escalation process.
  • Review and coordinate the end-to-end resolution of executive-level incidents.
  • Attend mandatory training and seek knowledge in areas of interest to the business.
  • Adopt best practices to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Weekend coverage may be required on occasion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in large-scale operations domains such as online operations, escalations, compliance, or risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and making quality decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience managing and delivering projects.
  • Solid understanding of the broader social media landscape.

Nice-to-haves

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Legal, Public Policy, International Relations, or Computer Science.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience influencing others using data and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Meta's suite of products.
  • Understanding of social media's impact on businesses and inherent issues.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
