The Business Support Analyst for IT Revenue Cycle Support at Covenant Health plays a crucial role in leading and collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams to enhance customer-focused IT solutions through the effective use of technology and system functionality. This position is integral to the day-to-day support of Patient Financial Services and Charge Services applications, ensuring that the needs of the consolidated business office are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Patient Accounting and Charge workflows, enabling them to troubleshoot application failures and identify opportunities for improvement in collaboration with business partners and fellow analysts. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for operational support, which includes resolving both technical and functional issues, performing system configurations, and conducting routine maintenance and upgrades. The candidate must demonstrate self-motivation, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Familiarity with systems such as Star Patient Accounting, Cerner Charge Services, SSI electronic claim submission, SQL, and SSRS/SSIS will be advantageous for success in this position. The analyst will oversee various complex system projects, defining project scope and objectives based on user needs and a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry requirements. They will devise or modify solutions to address complex problems, considering the limitations of computer equipment and operational time. This role also involves analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into system specifications. The analyst will be responsible for assembling project teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion. They will also help users and managers analyze needs and identify potential system or workflow alternatives, aiming to improve productivity and efficiency through existing system functionalities or automation tools.
