About the position

The position is responsible for account coordination to support scrap purchase and sales contracts within the Metals Recycling sector. The incumbent will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate and timely results, exceeding customer service expectations. Key responsibilities include managing customer contracts, facilitating contract maintenance, and ensuring compliance with financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and customers, coordinating cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partners, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with various teams to oversee end-to-end processes related to scrap purchasing and sales.
  • Validate pricing, process payables, and reconcile statements of accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Audit scrap tickets and reconcile with vendor payment schedules and SAP reports, coordinating with Shared Services.
  • Facilitate periodic customer reviews and reconciliations, analyzing business requirements and troubleshooting issues.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze purchase contracts, managing account adjustments and dispute resolutions.
  • Manage sales orders, ensuring credit utilization and receivable reconciliation to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate new account setups and maintain vendor and customer accounts, granting access to self-service portals.
  • Manage daily activities and cost processing for multiple offsite inventory locations, ensuring compliance with tax documentation requirements.

Requirements

  • Business Administration University Degree or College Diploma preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of related field experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills are an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with customers and personnel.
  • Strong customer service focus and networking skills.
  • Exceptional time management and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and able to prioritize conflicting demands.
