About the position

The Business System Integration Manager will lead the BAE Business Integration Team in supporting the U.S. Navy's Strategic System Program (SSP). This role involves evaluating IT needs, identifying capability gaps, and collaborating with the Government Business Integration team to ensure effective IT solutions are provided to meet mission objectives. The manager will oversee project planning, stakeholder communication, and team performance, ensuring that technology solutions align with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BAE Business Integration Team in evaluating IT needs and capability gaps.
• Work directly with the Government Business Integration team to identify strategic goals and objectives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and documentation to effectively complete projects.
• Create and maintain relationships with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for technology solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions with IT teams and network engineers.
• Document current and future state network designs, including diagrams and specifications.
• Develop CONOPS, project plans, and schedules for solution implementation.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Develop and execute system level test plans to ensure technology solutions meet requirements.
• Assist in managing the change process and its impacts on business processes and systems.
• Perform supervisory duties including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of work experience in relevant fields.
• At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports, including performance appraisals and mentoring.
• At least 3 years of experience managing IT projects.
• Ability to determine high-level tasks required to complete projects based on existing procedures and domain knowledge.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads.
• At least 3 years of experience working with network designs and diagrams.
• Proficient in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with DoD, Navy, and/or SSP to understand business context and requirements.
