About the position

The Business Systems Support Specialist at Bentley Mills is responsible for providing first-level end-user support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems. This role involves managing IT assets, supporting mobile devices, handling IT accounting tasks, and ensuring accurate financial records related to Information Services assets. The specialist will also analyze vendor billings and prepare management reports on utilization and cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level end-user support for PC hardware and software, networks, data and voice communications, printing, servers, and AS/400 connectivity issues.
• Assist end-user associates with requests, problems, and questions, performing first-level problem determination and resolution.
• Learn and utilize platforms and tools to support Information Services financial and administrative processes.
• Maintain and update asset records for Information Services assets, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Reconcile Information Services asset records with fixed assets and general ledger records.
• Analyze vendor billings and prepare monthly management reports on utilization and cost trends.
• Allocate costs for leased equipment/services to appropriate business units.
• Maintain files of open procurement requisitions, purchase agreements, receiving reports, and invoices, authorizing vendor invoices for payment after review.
• Maintain a list of assets under hardware/software maintenance contracts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Minimum 2+ years of IT-related experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of Asset Management Methodologies
• Experience with PC and Server Technology
• Familiarity with Printers and other PC Peripherals
• General Accounting Knowledge
