About the position
The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between Cyber Security Operations Teams and stakeholders, focusing on understanding business and technical requirements. This role involves managing the product backlog, leading projects through their life cycles, and ensuring effective communication between teams to deliver timely solutions that meet both strategic and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand their business and technical requirements.
- Build and manage the product backlog for projects and enhancements.
- Lead projects through their respective life-cycles.
- Define and document business and functional requirements for projects.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to refine user story details and establish story points.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and SMEs to refine Epics and create Features and User Stories.
- Serve as a liaison and knowledge source with stakeholders, product owners, and testing team members.
- Identify risks and drive actions to prioritize, mitigate, and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Technical background with knowledge of system integration
- Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles
- Strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge in software delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile/Iterative, and/or Scrum
- Familiarity with technical documentation such as process maps, BRDs, system diagrams, and test plans.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira
- Experience with ServiceNow PPM (Project Management)
