About the position

As a Business Systems Analyst at Fashion Nova, you will be a vital member of the fulfillment technology team, focusing on the development of warehouse and supply chain technology that is essential to the company's operations. This role involves interfacing with various teams and systems to enhance the customer experience and support the company's rapid growth through a pipeline of software implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define and analyze existing processes to deliver business requirements and improvements across project and product life cycles.
  • Elicit and document requirements from business users by determining operational objectives, goals, and constraints.
  • Own the area's requirements and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the technology area.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders to ensure understanding of issues and solutions.
  • Work with technical development teams to scope, estimate effort, and manage development.
  • Ensure all technical requirements are clearly defined for system performance and resilience.
  • Support the development team in analyzing changes to data contracts and schemas.
  • Translate technical issues into simple terms for business users, with some understanding of programming techniques and infrastructure.
  • Manage system change deployments and support training for users on different systems/applications.
  • Monitor adoption and efficacy of new systems and processes, recommending improvements and mitigation actions.
  • Create test cases and scenarios and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required with a minimum of four years in a System Analyst role focusing on Information Technology and Supply Chain Management.
  • Four plus years of technology experience with warehouse management systems, preferably HighJump and/or Manhattan Associates.
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation, including sorters, put to light, and WCS integrations with host systems and parcel carriers.
  • Experience in retail and/or eCommerce operations, specifically in ERP and WMS.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with prototyping, modeling, and process flow tools.
  • Ability to define workflows and processes in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
