As a member of the Enterprise DevSecOps (EDSO) team, the IT Business Management Associate will work with the DevSecOps product management team and assist them in owning the product lifecycle from launch, entry into the service catalog, marketing, rollout and adoption, demand and roadmap planning, product updates, and work closely with the Engineering and Operational teams to ensure focus on product service quality. The Associate will also work with Product Owners, their squads, and extended tribe members within the DSO agile model. The EDSO Product Management function provides strategic planning, customer engagement, and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and services to advance DSO capabilities. This role will focus on the design, build, maintenance, and support of a new resiliency platform in EDSO for its customers. The Enterprise DevSecOps (EDSO) team designs, builds, maintains, and supports software and platforms in service of IT Software Delivery, Operational, and Resiliency Programs. The role of EDSO is to enable the broader organization to operate using DevSecOps and automation principles by providing a combination of platform, process, and culture direction.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate problem solving, analytical and collaboration skills to design solutions with stakeholders and users to improve EDSO products/services.
  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills through thorough identification and documentation of requirements for existing EDSO products/services.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail when evaluating impact analysis of a change to feature/functionality of EDSO products/services.
  • Leverage understanding of EDSO products/services and agile practices to contribute to improving overall user experience.
  • Learn quickly and communicate or demonstrate feature/functionality changes EDSO products/services.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, scrum masters, technical owners, and product stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Learn to facilitate meetings.
  • Assist Product Managers in managing demand and roadmap priority by collecting requirements and feedback from business, client, and technology users, and reviewing through a demand forum with key partners.
  • Work with engineering teams, architecture, and SME teams to define product improvements for inclusion in the roadmap.
  • Assist in publishing the product/service roadmap.
  • Assist in producing documentation and client-facing collateral, and actively promote understanding of the service capabilities.
  • Assist in coordinating and prioritizing with platform owners on product release of new services.
  • Assist in developing and leading metrics reports on usage of resources, service trends, capacity, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years' direct experience in a similar role for developing enterprise business applications and/or in technology roles.
  • Direct experience with DevSecOps tooling.
  • Direct experience in a financial services environment.
  • Direct experience in technology-based services.
  • Experience working with project partners in an agile environment.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented problem solver, highly structured, and well-organized.
  • Demonstrate understanding of project and product management processes and procedures.
  • Able to acquire new knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced technical and collaborative environment.
