About the position

The Judge Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business/Systems Analyst- IV / Penetration Tester to join their team in Richmond, Virginia. This position is primarily focused on conducting penetration testing assessments for enterprise customers, either remotely or onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, with the ability to communicate technical vulnerabilities effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires a consultant who can work independently or as part of a team, delivering high-quality assessments that identify and exploit vulnerabilities in various systems. As a Sr Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments that include network, application, mobile application, and wireless security testing. You will utilize both manual testing techniques and automated tools to identify vulnerabilities, exploit them, and conduct post-exploitation activities. The consultant will also be expected to relay findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring that they understand the implications of the vulnerabilities identified. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with the requirement to travel to customer locations for onsite assessments as needed. The position is a contract role with a duration of 12+ months, with possibilities for extension. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, along with a solid foundation in Information Technology. The role demands strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and a willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise customers.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in network, application, mobile application, and wireless systems.
  • Conduct post-exploitation activities and relay findings to stakeholders.
  • Utilize both manual testing techniques and automated tools for assessments.
  • Communicate technical vulnerabilities effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage and lead security assessments independently.
  • Provide effective presentations and written reports on assessment findings.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong grasp of network, application, and wireless security testing.
  • Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical vulnerabilities to various stakeholders.
  • Experience working in consultative positions.
  • Ability to manage and lead security assessments independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as OSEP, OSCP, CEH, OSWP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWE, or CISSP.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems from a four-year university.
