About the position

The Business Systems Analyst for JD Edwards is responsible for supporting the JD Edwards World and related core business applications, including Financials, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management. The role involves configuration, support of JDE modules, and collaboration with IT analysts and business users to gather requirements and provide solutions. The analyst will coordinate with development resources for customizations and enhancements while supporting day-to-day business activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide application analysis and support for integrated system applications and processes, including planning and implementing software upgrades and maintenance.
• Work with business managers and users to identify, gather information, and understand requirements for system modifications and enhancements.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to provide solutions for business needs, including ongoing support and upgrades.
• Relay functional and data requirements to the development team related to issues and modifications.
• Perform testing of development changes and support end-user testing, implementation, and training.
• Provide day-to-day support to users with system questions and issues.
• Prepare reporting to give visibility to users.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with the user community to address their needs and requirements.
• Seek ways to improve processes and systems functionality in support of the business.
• Build integration points between JD Edwards and other systems.
• Complete projects within established timelines, budget, and scope.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Provide full software support for Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functional areas.
• Configuration and support of JD Edwards World modules.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on design, development, and solution management.
• Lead or participate in functional and business requirements gathering sessions.
• Define and write specifications for configuration, user exits, and custom programs.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests, and system integration tests.
• Interface with ERP and non-ERP technical teams for technical specifications and development of customized objects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Preferably experience in JD Edwards World (financials, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, or Warehouse Management) or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of EDI is a plus.
• Excellent technical and business analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate and work well in a cross-functional team environment.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience serving as a systems analyst (Lead) for large-scale ERP system implementations.
• Strong customer service skills, organizational management, and exceptional communication skills.
