About the position

The Business Systems Analyst - Revenue and Billing role at Pure Storage involves leveraging data-driven insights to optimize the revenue platform in alignment with finance business objectives. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, forecast performance, and recommend strategic initiatives, focusing on enhancing revenue management and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Setup systems for data analysis and revenue reporting to collect revenue-related data from various IT systems.
• Collaborate with business to design and implement data migration of past invoice and revenue recognition data into the new revenue platform.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics for revenue management to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Configure the revenue management platform for forecasting and modeling revenue based on business requirements.
• Support Finance and Sales teams with system performance issues and enhance the performance of the revenue management platform.
• Implement process and systems improvements within the revenue management tool and billing platform.
• Work with the Development team to automate revenue reporting processes.
• Support the integration of new revenue management software into existing IT infrastructure and with backend ERP and billing systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align new go-to-market strategies with revenue management platform integrations.
• Ensure compliance of the revenue management platform with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the technology industry with proven delivery of digital transformation projects.
• Deep domain expertise in Revenue and Billing modules and understanding of ASC606 accounting standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and manage multiple projects.
• Experience operating within a matrixed organization with a focus on enabling business capabilities through collaboration.
• Proven experience with Salesforce Architecture, Subscription Management, and Quote to Cash processes.
• Experience working with technical and functional resources following an Agile delivery methodology.
• Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
