About the position

The Business Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (BSA-SME) at Cydecor, Inc. is a senior-level role focused on data analysis and requirements building to support the United States Space Force's readiness reporting objectives. The position involves shaping policy, forecasting readiness shortfalls, and generating requirements for senior leader reporting. The BSA-SME will act as a liaison between users and developers, ensuring that the end-state functionality meets customer needs while analyzing data for inconsistencies and coordinating with DoD customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform exceptional data analysis and detailed requirements building.
• Support the United States Space Force readiness reporting objectives for FY24 and beyond.
• Shape policy and forecast readiness shortfalls.
• Generate future requirements to address senior leader reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance and participate in requirements reviews, client support, testing, and readiness analysis.
• Research and capture business needs, acting as a proxy for users and customers.
• Interface directly with developers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and testers.
• Analyze data for inconsistencies and support complex queries from data source partners or customers.
• Coordinate with the DoD customer to communicate product status and alignment to organizational needs.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a subject matter expert in readiness and readiness reporting.
• Familiarity with policy, directives, and current top task items, especially with Space Force.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to train readiness at multiple levels: leadership, MAJCOMs, Wings, Unit Commanders, Unit Admins.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years of US Air Force experience.
• Experience in DRRS or Readiness.
• Knowledge of METL/SORTS readiness reporting policy.
• Expertise in current readiness reporting, including UTC reporting.
