About the position

The Business Systems Analyst (SQL/ETL) role involves collaborating with finance business partners to gather and analyze business requirements, identify pain points, and propose solutions to enhance processes and efficiency. The analyst will translate these requirements into functional specifications and work closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope and deliverables. Additionally, the role includes conducting thorough analyses of existing finance systems, recommending improvements, and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for these systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance business partners to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Identify pain points and propose solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and project management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing finance systems and recommend enhancements or alternative solutions.
• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and customization of finance systems.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for finance systems, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA).
• Proficiency in SQL.
