About the position

The Remote Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the ERP implementation project by documenting the results of gap analysis sessions and transforming them into clear requirements. This position is essential for ensuring that all discrepancies between existing and new processes are accurately captured, facilitating effective project planning.

Responsibilities

• Attend all gap analysis and planning sessions during the Confirm Prototype stage of the project.
• Take detailed and well-organized notes during meetings regarding decisions made, outstanding issues, and identified paths forward for each process.
• Follow up with subject matter experts regarding questions or additional information needed for each process and decision.
• Work with accumulated notes and knowledge, along with IT staff, to form the notes into documented requirements for software customizations and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other related field
• 5 years of experience in a Business Analysis role
• Experience working with ERP implementations
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to accurately define and document business requirements, including level of effort estimates and required resources
• Ability to relate requirements to technical and non-technical staff
• Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to business functions
• Understands the complexity and inter-relatedness of business functions and company applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
