In the realm of Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering, the Business Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions. This involves ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and translating those requirements into detailed functional specifications that align with project objectives. The role also encompasses Quality Assurance, where the analyst will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements. This includes conducting thorough testing procedures such as functional, regression, and performance testing, as well as collaborating with development teams to identify and report defects for timely resolution. Documentation is a critical aspect of this role. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for business processes, system requirements, and test cases, while maintaining detailed documentation throughout the development and testing life cycle. Effective communication is essential, as the analyst will facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT development teams, providing regular updates on project progress, including test results and potential risks. Additionally, the analyst will actively participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and improve overall system quality will be a key responsibility.
