About the position

The Business Systems Analyst will oversee the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring its functionality and efficiency across the organization. This role involves implementing new ERP systems, troubleshooting user issues, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with various departments to enhance business processes.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve user issues with ERP system.
• Coordinate with outside software service providers on updates and fixes.
• Assist in the implementation of ERP across new business units.
• Focus on the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Troubleshoot errors found in the new ERP system and bring them to resolution.
• Collaborate between departments and business units to ensure ERP effectiveness.
• Create and assist others in writing user documentation, instructions, test scripts, and procedures.
• Propose business process improvements based on industry best practices.
• Determine how changing business needs will affect current systems and procedures.
• Lead system enhancement initiatives by designing and formulating solutions.
• Run and facilitate workshops with business users and IT staff.
• Document requested system changes and develop detailed specifications for implementation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years working as a Business Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 4-year Degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, or finance is required.
• Prior experience with BI tools, Crystal Report writing, Spreadsheet Server, or similar toolsets preferred.
• Experience with executing SQL queries and a demonstrated understanding of the underlying database structure preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with BI tools and report writing tools.
