About the position

The SAP S4/Hana Business Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP solutions to meet business-related requirements. This role involves collaborating with business process teams to understand current and future business processes, ensuring that technology investments align with strategic objectives. The analyst acts as a liaison between third-party support teams and end users, maintaining detailed system documentation and ensuring technical compatibility and satisfaction of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategy sessions and guide business management in their use of SAP S4/Hana.
• Work with department leadership to create an open dialog to determine issues and derive enhancement priorities.
• Scout for business process improvements and support the business in attaining high productivity levels.
• Prioritize business requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Translate business requirements into solutions and ensure functionality in SAP S4/Hana or third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot SAP S4/Hana business processes in various modules and provide resolutions and improvements.
• Guide customers through the problem-solving process and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Train users on SAP S4/Hana functionalities.
• Implement SAP S4/Hana system solutions utilizing system development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
• Utilize change management methodology and ensure documentation is complete for system changes.
• Partner with vendors and third-party support teams to resolve system issues and develop enhancements.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical SAP S4/Hana issues in collaboration with Business Analysts and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and facilitate end-user acceptance testing.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and management of policies, processes, and standards within the technical environment.
• Create training documentation and respond in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Expert in SAP S4/Hana, specifically in Production Planning.
• Adept in supporting SAP S4/Hana and non-SAP S4/Hana systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT and/or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in leading systems implementation utilizing SDLC and Project Management methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing manufacturing environment.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

Nice-to-haves

• Life science experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a regulated industry; FDA preferred.
