About the position

The Koch Capability Transformation Team within Koch Global Services is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our LIFT product team to implement and support data solutions for facilities capability. Our LIFT (Land, Infrastructure, Facilities, Transactions) product team provides support for leveraged applications and surrounding technology supporting our enterprise Facilities business processes and data analytics. As we continue to transform the LIFT capability, you will be responsible for driving, challenging, and leading continuous improvements to enable customers to effectively utilize and gain additional value from our systems and applications. The ideal candidate for this role will need the ability to develop relationships, strong problem-solving skills to resolve and offer solutions in functional, technical, and data focused areas, and the ability to identify opportunities to advance and improve the product(s) and surrounding technologies. This candidate should also have a collaborative mindset and capability to partner with customers, consumers, vendors, and the global support team to continuously enhance and optimize the product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of business analytics, integrations, and application needs to assist in developing and providing long term solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end requirement development process and support the planning and execution of the data product and LIFT application roadmap/timeline.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to resolve complex functional and technical data and application related issues.
  • Leverage API and Data Management tools to optimize data transfers, reporting, and coordinate data validation and testing.
  • Foster continuous improvement and drive problems solving in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to internalize business strategies and optimize value.
  • Actively listen and anticipate customer's needs and incorporate into team strategies and priorities to drive valuable results.
  • Partner with global product team, customers, consumers, vendors, IT teams and others to optimize data and application products and implement and enhance technology solutions.
  • Ensure business and KGS visions and strategies are understood and being implemented within the product and communicated downstream to users.
  • Have the courage to challenge and escalate as necessary, embrace teamwork and differing cultures and opinions, be able to work independently, be motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.

Requirements

  • Desire to learn or aptitude in data development life cycle and data management principles (ETL/ELT, basic data engineering, data modeling).
  • Experience in application management or implementing IT projects.
  • Asking good questions to dig deep into business processes; drive to truly understand business needs and system issues.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple issues and projects without causing disruption in deliverables.
  • Experience communicating and presenting to users, stakeholders and peers at various levels within an organization and across the globe to influence and gain alignment on objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Agile frameworks and methodologies, to manage backlog and prioritization processes.
  • Experience with data management tools such as Databricks, SQL, Python, or Snowflake.
  • Experience in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying data anomalies, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with application integrations and API management.
