About the position

The Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving business processes related to financial planning and sales operations. This position involves gathering and documenting complex business requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives. The analyst will also be responsible for data analysis, stakeholder management, and supporting change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing business processes related to financial planning and sales operations, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to redesign processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company strategy.
  • Document and map current and future state processes, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work with data teams to analyze financial, sales, and operational data, providing insights that inform decision-making and prioritization within the program.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that present data clearly and actionably to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy are maintained throughout the analysis and reporting processes.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and the technical program team, ensuring business needs are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Facilitate communication between company stakeholders and the CIO/CTO organizations, ensuring alignment on program goals and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of business analysis activities and any emerging issues or risks.
  • Work closely with solution architects, developers, and data teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Participate in the design of new systems or enhancements to existing systems, ensuring alignment with functional specifications and business objectives.
  • Assist in the development of test cases and scenarios to validate that solutions meet business needs.
  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of new tools and processes.
  • Monitor user adoption and provide ongoing support to address any issues or concerns.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and compliant with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in gathering and documenting complex business requirements.
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, sales planning tools, data management platforms, and enterprise technology architecture.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
