About the position

Balanced Body is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our Logistics team. This position will report to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for assisting business teams with implementations, upgrades, and developments of business applications and other integrated technology. The Systems Analyst will work closely with our internal Business Intelligence team, IT contractors, and other outside resources to ensure that Logistics, Finance, and Production needs are addressed in said developments. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to understanding the intricacies of our business processes to effectively support our teams. As a liaison between business users and IT & Tech teams, the Systems Analyst will become a super user of Microsoft Business Central (BC) and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of solutions from a Logistics, Finance, and Production perspective. The analyst will take the internal lead on BC related integration updates and assist with the implementation of Shopify websites, ensuring that the Logistics, Finance, and production needs and impacts are adequately addressed. This position also involves working cross-functionally to assist in developing business and production reports, as well as performing other duties as required to meet company needs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience with ERP systems and related integrations. A demonstrated ability to work inter-departmentally with all levels of a company is essential, as is experience in launching new functionality and training related user groups. Logistics and/or Accounting experience is a plus, as is proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of programs. Exceptional verbal, written, and interactive communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills, are critical for success in this role. A positive attitude and a commitment to constant change and growth are also important attributes for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between business users and IT & Tech teams

  • Take internal lead on BC related integration updates

  • Perform other duties as required to meet company needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience with ERP systems and related integrations (super user experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience working inter-departmentally with all levels of a company
  • Experience launching new functionality and training of related user group
  • Logistics and/or Accounting experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs
