Under the direction of the Director of Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for system and business process analysis, new site implementations, data analysis, system support, system configuration, and end-user training for processes in their assigned business systems. The Business Systems Analyst will work with end-users and other IT staff to ensure that best practices are established and utilized, working properly and efficiently, and that end-users are properly trained. The role requires applying strong knowledge of assigned business processes for analyzing, designing, developing, and testing system functions for assigned business areas to ensure that the supporting systems meet the business requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with the Business Analyst team to implement the ERP software in new MCC facilities, gather detailed requirements from users, and develop functional specifications for new system requirements, enhancements, and reporting requirements. Utilizing data and process analysis methods and tools, the analyst will identify system and process improvement opportunities, configure and maintain assigned business systems, and conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices. Additionally, the analyst will create and maintain system, process, and end-user documentation, ensure that project requirements, timelines, budgets, and scopes are met, and develop report requirements to support business processes and continuous improvement. The role also involves acting as a functional and technical liaison between users and the IT application development team to deliver custom solutions that require more complex program coding, performing data analysis and minor programming to support data migration from legacy systems, and providing user support for business systems-related issues. The Business Systems Analyst will maintain a support log of issues and requests following service request guidelines and ensure all established policies, procedures, and controls are enforced and followed.
