The Business Systems Analyst role at Thai Summit America is a pivotal position within the IT team, focusing on enhancing and fixing existing systems as assigned. This role is essential for supporting escalated helpdesk tickets related to TSAC Business Systems and Applications. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for documenting and resolving assigned service tickets promptly, ensuring that the business systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This position requires direct interaction with various business departments to provide day-to-day support for the company's business systems, acting as a change catalyst and integrator to improve application usage across the enterprise. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with operational champions to establish common business processes, applications, and data standards within the company's applications. Key responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support for TSAC application systems, prioritizing incidents, and applying solutions where applicable. The analyst will troubleshoot and resolve software user access or security issues, assist in the development and implementation of system initiatives, and provide training and technical knowledge to end users. A significant aspect of this role involves developing a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the PLEX ERP software to creatively utilize existing features and functions to meet customer needs. The analyst will also coordinate with external trading partners to onboard new partners, manage EDI testing, and resolve any issues related to data exchange. Additionally, the role includes creating and maintaining documentation related to EDI processes and procedures, supporting day-to-day business operations, and participating in team projects while being part of an on-call rotation for technical support. The Business Systems Analyst will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation of IT policies and procedures, ensuring effective coordination between business units and IT teams, and performing other duties as assigned.
