About the position

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading technological innovation and managing systems related to Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS). This role involves overseeing hardware, software, and integrations between university data sources and third-party applications, ensuring efficient operation of various systems including Permit Enforcement Management Systems (PEMS) and Parking And Revenue Control Systems (PARCS).

Responsibilities

  • Lead technological innovation for Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS) hardware and software.
  • Manage integrations between university data sources and third-party applications.
  • Maintain systems including Permit Enforcement Management Systems (PEMS) and Parking And Revenue Control Systems (PARCS).
  • Oversee GPS and passenger counting systems, radio and intercom communications, and other technologies interacting with PaTS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Four or more years of experience with Parking Systems deployment and maintenance.
  • Detailed knowledge of camera systems and Mototrbo radio systems.
  • Significant experience with MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to develop Crystal/Webfocus/SQL reports and understand relational databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience creating and working with import/export files between data systems.
  • Ability to disseminate data using filters, pivot tables, and graphs.
  • Experience improving processes for users and managing system documentation and training.

Benefits

  • Permanent full-time employment with a salary range of $56,397 - $69,628.
  • Exempt status under FLSA.
  • Work schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours.
