The Business Systems Analyst position at Spectraforce Technologies is a critical role that involves defining customer needs in both technical and business contexts. The analyst will be responsible for eliciting and documenting user requirements to meet business objectives, guiding technical and customer departments in the development of systems that support business solutions, and facilitating knowledge transfer about the business unit's direction to others who support them. In this position, the analyst will also ensure the accurate deployment of solutions by reviewing problem logs, assisting with test plans and test matrices, and engaging in other analysis activities. The role includes providing input on the business direction for system changes, validating the business need for solutions to business problems, and assisting in the development and documentation of training materials. Mentoring or training less experienced staff is also a key responsibility, ensuring that knowledge and skills are passed on within the team. The work environment is fast-paced and high-demand, often requiring the analyst to work against mandated deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate when necessary is essential to balance multiple high-priority tasks. The analyst will work in a multi-platformed environment that may require action and response 24/7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
