About the position

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with business teams in gathering and refining system requirements. This role involves analyzing technical requirements, facilitating communication with third-party vendors, and ensuring alignment between business needs and software development processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), technical documentation, and effective communication with external software billing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to gather and refine system requirements
• Analyze and break down business requirements into technical specifications
• Communicate technical requirements to third-party software billing vendors
• Ensure accurate implementation by vendors and monitor for defects or issues
• Participate in technical discussions to ensure solutions align with business needs and SDLC processes
• Use JIRA for tracking requirements, issues, and project progress

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), focusing on requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience working on SDLC projects and understanding the software development lifecycle
• Strong background in technical requirement writing
• Experience working with third-party vendors and driving communication
• Excellent communication skills to manage discussions with external partners
• Experience in software development or a related technical field, with the ability to engage in technical conversations
• Proficiency in JIRA for tracking and managing project requirements and defects
