The Business Systems Application Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) plays a crucial role in managing software upgrades and collaborating with IT and Operations teams. This position involves understanding change requirements, participating in software migrations, and ensuring effective documentation and training materials are created. The role is integral to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the insurance industry through technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with MMA IT and Operations on software upgrades, including feature determination, documentation, and testing.
• Collaborate with MMA operations teams to understand change requirements and provide solutions.
• Participate in software migrations, including data mapping, conversions, and data logic.
• Create training materials and operational documentation, both written and recorded.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, users, agency and regional management, and MMA leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general application administration and processes.
• Proficiency in Sagitta, ImageRight, and BenefitPoint, with a willingness to learn additional systems.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into manageable instructions and clear communications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
