The Business Systems Application Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) plays a crucial role in managing software upgrades and ensuring effective communication between IT and Operations. This position involves understanding change requirements, participating in software migrations, and creating documentation and training materials. The role is integral to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the insurance industry through technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with MMA IT and Operations on software upgrades, including feature determination, documentation, and testing.
• Collaborate with MMA operations teams to understand change requirements and provide research and solutioning.
• Participate in software migrations, focusing on data mapping, conversions, and data logic.
• Create training materials and operational documentation, both written and recorded.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, users, agency and regional management, and MMA leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general application administration and processes.
• Proficiency in Sagitta, ImageRight, and BenefitPoint, with a willingness to learn additional systems.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into manageable instructions and clear communications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
