About the position

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing various aspects of manufacturing and business system management, including strategic planning and team coordination. This role involves managing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business systems, ensuring optimal functionality and integration across the organization. The position reports to the Division Controller, Director of Accounting, and Chief Compliance Officer, and requires collaboration with other departments to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business systems.
  • Manage the integration of different business applications for seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with software vendors to negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
  • Lead and manage system-related projects, including upgrades and migrations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and business processes.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and develop training programs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within business systems and generate reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their system needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and manage budgets for system-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
  • Five+ years of experience in business systems management.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Python) and cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail for data accuracy and compliance.
  • Understanding of business processes and strategic planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IFS ERP system is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
