About the position

The Business Systems Specialist at McGee Air Services is responsible for overseeing the administration of multiple cloud systems, providing user support, and developing complex workflows. This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of business systems, aligning them with organizational goals, and managing system integrations and project implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of various cloud-based systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to optimize complex workflows using Excel and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Provide pro-active user support in partnership with IT and Business Systems Specialists, addressing system-related queries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Analyze business cases and manage the integration of different business systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for systems and workflows, leading training sessions for users on new systems and updates.
  • Oversee and own projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Utilize Excel and other tools for data analysis, providing ongoing recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Own all systems and applicable processes to meet compliance with relevant laws and best practices, staying updated with trends in business systems and cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in business systems management, focusing on cloud systems and workflow development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of cloud system architectures and integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in managing IT or business system projects.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance, including background checks and drug screening.
