About the position

The position at Intuit involves providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, specifically focusing on business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in business tax preparation and will be responsible for managing complex tax returns while ensuring excellent customer service through virtual interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and tax preparation for business tax returns.
• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Interact with customers using video communications software to assist with tax-related inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and ensure high-quality customer experiences.
• Meet company key performance metrics and participate in pilot testing and projects.

Requirements

• Strong business tax preparation experience with 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S).
• Possess an active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per tax year.
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers is preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required.
• Commit to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week throughout the tax season.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230 and proficiency with technology.
