Responsibilities
- Work on a team focusing on various tax specialty areas including corporate taxation, individual taxation, and not-for-profit organizations.
- Complete tax planning and research to support client needs.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for clients.
- Understand and apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
Requirements
- Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
Nice-to-haves
- Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
