About the position
The position at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club involves ensuring the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage Department, maintaining high standards of service and compliance with safety and quality specifications. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and effective communication with management and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
- Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
- Ensure communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
- Assist Server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment.
- Stock all wares and equipment needed for service.
Requirements
- Previous guest relations and/or training.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
