About the position

Nozomu is seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner and Busser to join their team. This part-time position is crucial for ensuring that food is delivered promptly and efficiently from the kitchen to customers, while also maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. The role requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the customers' tables
• Ensure that all food items are accurately presented and garnished
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared correctly and on time
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, waitstaff, and kitchen staff
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
