About the position

We are seeking an organized and dedicated Host/Food Runner/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests, enhancing their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls relating to reservations, takeout orders, and other common questions.
• Package takeout orders for guests.
• Quickly clear and reset tables.
• Support servers in delivering food to guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Support waitstaff by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and providing additional assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service in a hospitality-focused setting.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
