About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests, assisting servers and maintaining the flow of service to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional utensils or condiments as requested by guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bussing or similar roles within the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both guests and staff effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a restaurant setting.
