Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
• Place tableware and condiments on tables
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
• Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing damaged or soiled pages
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed and replenishing utensils
• Refill water glasses and be alert to guest spills or other special needs
• Support wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and bus stations
• Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables
• Update job knowledge by participating in team member training opportunities
• Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

Requirements

• Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner, or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
