About the position

California Dairies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Butter Warehouse Person. As the largest member-owned milk marketing and dairy processing cooperative in California, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality dairy products, including butter, fluid milk, and milk powders. Our cooperative is co-owned by nearly 400 dairy producers, and we are committed to providing safe and reliable dairy nutrition to a growing global market. This position is essential in maintaining our high standards of product quality and safety within our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining proper product rotation and ensuring a clean and safe work area. You will complete daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks, fill out necessary paperwork related to pallet stacking, and stage products for truck and railcar load-outs. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols is crucial. You will also be expected to follow all safety and working rules, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to a quality work environment. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start their careers in the dairy industry. The work environment can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy items, operate equipment such as forklifts, and maintain safety standards. We are looking for individuals who can work effectively in a team and are willing to ask for assistance when needed. California Dairies, Inc. offers a generous benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, paid vacation, and tuition reimbursement.
