About the position

The Buy Center Agent at Bud Clary Auto Group is responsible for acquiring high-quality used vehicles to support the dealership's inventory needs. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry, contributing to the dealership's success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate potential used vehicles through various channels, including service customers and private sellers.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, mileage, and overall value.
• Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to secure the best deals for the dealership.
• Determine the fair market value of vehicles using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle purchases.
• Maintain accurate records of purchased vehicles and coordinate with the dealership's inventory team.
• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and potential buyers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in used car sales or purchasing, is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
