About the position

The Buy Side Equity Research Analyst will join Silvercrest's Growth Equity Team, focusing on Large-Cap Growth stocks in the Technology sector, particularly Internet, Software, and Semiconductors. This role involves conducting in-depth research, proposing investment opportunities, and collaborating with portfolio management teams to achieve excess returns. The Analyst will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the team's success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on Large-Cap Growth stocks, particularly in the Internet, Software, and Semiconductor sectors.
• Propose equity investment opportunities for inclusion in portfolios.
• Interact directly with two portfolio management teams.
• Develop an active dialog with senior management of existing and potential holdings.
• Attend investment and trade conferences, and visit companies onsite.
• Collaborate with other sector analysts and maintain ongoing interaction with sell-side analysts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years equity research experience on buy-side or sell-side.
• Experience in Large-Cap Internet, Software, and/or Semiconductor sectors is preferred.
• CFA designation or enrollment in the CFA curriculum preferred.
• Ability to perform fundamental, bottom-up equity research and valuation analysis.
• Passion for Growth investing and intellectual curiosity.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
