About the position

The Buyer is responsible for implementing and executing the materials procurement strategy and plan, ensuring the delivery of day-to-day procurement requirements. This role involves identifying suppliers, developing strategic relationships, leading negotiation processes, and managing supplier performance while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implement the materials procurement strategy and execute the procurement plan.
• Identify suppliers and develop strategic relationships.
• Lead the RFP, RFQ, RFA, and negotiation processes to create value.
• Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders to negotiate purchase order terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier performance and monitor KPIs for key suppliers.
• Ensure commitments are met and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders.
• Input and maintain necessary data in the company ERP system.
• Promote Procurement services throughout the organization.
• Support stakeholders to achieve key organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of direct work experience in Procurement or relevant experience.
• Experience in sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and negotiation.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• CPSM or CPIM certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Inventory Control, Requisition, and Procurement modules.
• Experience with e-sourcing, CLM, and spend analytics applications.
