About the position

The Buyer - Data Entry Specialist at Liquid PC, LLC is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely entry of Purchase Orders (POs) into the company's system. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage high volumes of orders while maintaining precision and speed. The position involves close collaboration with sales and purchasing teams to ensure that orders are processed correctly, focusing on pricing, terms, and deadlines. Success in this role is measured by the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while processing a large volume of orders each day.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of 30-40 Purchase and Sales Orders daily with strict attention to detail.
• Accurately input and verify pricing, terms, and other order details before processing.
• Prioritize and enter high-priority orders for 'white glove' customers.
• Maintain strong communication with the sales team and purchasing manager regarding order status.
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are entered and processed within the same day.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to assess workload and performance.
• Contribute to creating and improving data entry procedures and best practices.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports for the Purchasing Department.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of data entry or similar experience (required).
• Fast, accurate data entry skills (80 WPM with minimal errors).
• Strong organizational abilities to manage high-volume order processing.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, particularly with numbers and order details.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with team members and provide status updates.
• Proficiency with Outlook for managing email communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in procurement or IT distribution is a plus but not required.
• A college degree is preferred but not essential.
