About the position

The Buyer position is a full-time role focused on the procurement of materials, optimizing supplier relationships, and maintaining efficient supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and inventory management, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, issue RFQs, and assess supplier reliability.
• Procure materials while optimizing cost, delivery, and contract terms.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, replenishment strategies, and material flow agreements.
• Maintain purchase order status and track shipments using ERP systems.
• Contribute to monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Coordinate inventory planning and material replenishment to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience is also considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level or higher).
• Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems such as BAAN, SAP, or Oracle.
