About the position

Innomotics LLC is seeking a Buyer to join their team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves collaborating with various departments to manage purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Buyer will play a crucial role in supporting the company's supply chain operations and will report directly to the Purchasing Manager. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence 1-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the purchasing activities for assigned inventory components, supporting both intercompany and third-party manufacturing product lines.
  • Secures pricing from approved suppliers, issues purchase orders, and addresses supply issues to meet customer demand.
  • Determines sourcing models, plans inventory levels, and ensures inventory accuracy in SAP.
  • Executes Commodity strategies to ensure cost-efficient, long-term supply of materials.
  • Supports the implementation of globally standardized methods and processes to maintain high process efficiency.
  • Ensures adherence to supplier commitments such as on-time delivery and negotiated pricing.
  • Facilitates negotiations to achieve maximum possible savings.
  • Creates and implements cost-saving measures to enhance business success.
  • Supports Supplier Management processes for assigned components, including qualification and evaluation.
  • Establishes and maintains strong supplier relationships.
  • Works closely with internal customers for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Shares supplier information with internal business partners.
  • Supports planning and coordination of new product introductions or product changes.
  • Ensures timely and accurate information in SAP regarding purchase orders and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Ability to manage the efficient supply of special and custom design components.
  • Lean process focus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, oral, and presentation.
  • Team player with leadership capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in related field.
  • Proficient in SAP.
