Responsibilities

  • Solicit, negotiate, award and implement contracts/purchase orders for materials/services.
  • Resolve problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Participate in procurement initiatives/projects to maximize the value of purchased goods and services in accordance with product/service specifications.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and process improvements.
  • Develop, implement and manage supplier relationships and supplier performance.
  • Support materials management and inventory control programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years related experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in reading/understanding drawings/blueprints, etc.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
