About the position

The BXMO X-RAY TECH position at MD Now is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This role involves performing radiological and lab duties, ensuring patient satisfaction, and supporting clinic operations while adhering to the company's mission and values. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and emphasizes teamwork and communication to deliver efficient healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required Radiological and Lab duties in accordance with license.
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Treat patients, visitors, medical staff, colleagues, and others with compassion and respect.
• Participate on teams to improve operations, staff retention, and employee engagement.
• Work assigned schedule and notify management of absence or tardiness according to policy.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality care and services for patients.
• Maintain a clean and orderly clinic environment in compliance with company policy and accrediting standards.
• Provide support to providers as needed and requested.
• Follow established scripts and protocols including Patient Triage and Patient Call Backs.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider's orders and document patient records accurately.
• Conduct drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests accurately.
• Cross-train for Front Desk duties including patient check-in/out and lobby checks.
• Maintain, calibrate, and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
• Complete incident occurrence reports timely and appropriately.
• Participate in required emergency drills and company-sponsored community activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Basic X-Ray Machine Operator License in state of residency required (Florida Only).
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start required.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License may be required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in urgent care or emergency care settings.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
