About the position

Our client is a leader in the Intel Community providing complex communications signals collection and processing systems. They prime multiple contracts specializing in software-based DSP solutions. They secured a new prime contract and are working to staff this effort, kicking off in early 2022. Their mission-critical rewarding work includes full-stack development of production-quality software applications, as well as solution prototyping and fielding of their software systems. Their teams are made up of language-agnostic Software Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure / Linux-based DevOps professionals, and DSP Algorithm and Software Developers. The first folks on this new contract will be Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Security Engineers. Software Engineers can expect to be hands-on in all aspects of code design, implementation, testing, analysis, and debugging. A successful Software Engineer in this role will need to have experience with C/C++, and Python, along with LINUX experience. They should also have experience in client-serving architectures and network techniques, as well as Object-Oriented design experience. This position requires a TS/SCI level clearance or above, and our client is able to upgrade or sponsor highly qualified, lower, or uncleared candidates through achieving a higher clearance. US Citizenship is required, and preference will be given to those candidates with an active TS/SCI or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software applications using C/C++ and Python.
  • Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging of software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and prototype solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Ensure software quality and performance through rigorous testing and validation.

Requirements

  • Experience with C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency in LINUX operating systems.
  • Experience in client-serving architectures and network techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of signal processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience in communication systems development and testing.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB software.
  • Experience with GNSS technologies (GPS, Galileo).
