About the position

The C++ Cloud Software Developer will design, develop, and optimize high-performance cloud-based applications for a leading data analytics company. This role focuses on enhancing the scalability, reliability, and performance of the company's advanced data analytics platform, utilizing cutting-edge technology and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions in C++ for cloud-based systems.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Optimize software performance, memory usage, and resource allocation for distributed environments.
• Write and maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing software in C++.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with distributed systems and parallel processing.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data streaming frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves
