About the position

Kforce has a client seeking a C# Hardware Engineer in Centerville, UT. This role is focused on assisting with innovative hardware features that enhance the multisport arcade experience. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a dedicated Unity Developer to develop the user interface and bring functionality to life. Currently, the client employs a two-camera solution but aims to optimize and launch a single camera solution in the near future. A significant part of this role involves reworking the Calibration Tool to support both the existing and new products, with a focus on improving user experience and simplifying the calibration process. The primary goal will be to develop the functionality that drives a newly conceived Calibration Tool. Additionally, the client is interested in exploring the relationship between their hardware cameras and the virtual cameras used in games. This exploration may lead to optimizations that enhance the perception and transition from a physical environment to a virtual one, making this role critical in bridging hardware and software functionalities for an improved user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with innovative hardware features for the multisport arcade.
  • Collaborate with a Unity Developer to develop the user interface.
  • Optimize and bring to market a single camera solution.
  • Rework the Calibration Tool to support both old and new products.
  • Improve user experience and simplify the calibration process.
  • Develop functionality for a newly conceived Calibration Tool.

Requirements

  • C# programming experience.
  • Video analysis skills.
  • Experience with hardware/peripheral integration, specifically using optical hardware for object detection and tracking.
  • Familiarity with the Intel RealSense product line.
  • WPF framework experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Unity development platform experience is a plus, but not required.
